A Few Of My Favorite Things – G

My friend Mary posted a few of her favorite things after seeing it on another blog. When I saw it on Mary’s blog I was like oh fun I want to do it. The catch? The person (where you saw the post) gets to assign you a letter. Mary gave me the letter G.

So I’m off to list a few of my favorite things that start with the letter G.

• Girlfriends. My girlfriends know way too much about me so I’ve gotta like them Kidding aside, my girlfriends rock. They are there for the sad, the bad, the good, the ugly. They brighten my day and those relationships are important to me.
• God. I was headed down a fast track to nowhere before I started going to church and accepted Jesus into my heart.
• Gum. Oh do I ever love gum! I chew it all the time. Confession time – when I was younger my mom would get mad at me because I would stick gum on my headboard and save it so I could chew it the next day. Isn’t that just disgusting? YUCK! I can’t believe I used to do that.
• Gorilla Glue. This stuff works wonders. I think it’s probably even better than super glue.
• Giggle. Sometimes out of the blue I’ll just start giggling for no apparent reason.
• Glitter. I love me some glitter pens!
• Games. I love playing board games. I miss game nights that I used to do with Mary, Jeff, Trisha & Ben.
• Glade plug-ins. I love my house to smell nice and I’ve been using Glade plug-ins forever.
• Gingerbread. I love making gingerbread houses (hmmm it’s been a really loooong time since I’ve done this).
• Grandparents. No explanation necessary.

I told Mary I wasn’t going to be able to come up with anything that started with the letter G but once I got going I was on a roll and I actually had several other things I was going to list too! LOL
