Hmmm what to write about? I hate the fact that a post I made yesterday (which has since been deleted along with a couple other posts) brought out another nasty comment. It was by far the worst comment I’ve ever seen and it left me speechless for a couple minutes. But even more than that, it left me with the feeling of hmmmm what can I post about now.

I’ve been blogging for almost two years now (Sept marks my 2 year anniversary) and have been very open about so many things in my life. That was the whole point of blogging. As a single mom I needed an outlet to vent my frustrations, share my triumphs, talk about my love life (which for the most part over the past 2 years has been totally non-existent! Until recently….yeah don’t get me started cause we all know when I start talking about him I don’t shut up…hey I can’t help it) and anything else I’ve felt like writing about.

More than once I’ve had people tell me don’t be so real and I’ve shrugged it off. Now with the onset of these eggheads, doorknobs, knuckleheads of blog bullies and their nasty comments I wonder if maybe I need to tone it down and start making less personal posts. Which led me to thinking ok I could post about movies I watch (which I already do on occasion) or books I’ve read (which I have done in past but not recently) and those are certainly not personal things but how boring to only write about that stuff!

But then I realized having a personal blog and sharing the things I’ve shared over the last couple years makes me happy. I love blogging. I love talking about my boyfriend. I love talking about my son. I love talking about my inability to cook & the disasters that have come from my attempts at doing it. I love sharing about hanging out with friends. I love sharing my DORK moments with you. I love talking about the good ole days of NKOTB and how they have come back together for a reunion tour and their new song Summertime. I just like blogging and for the most part I always mind my manners and keep my nose out of other people’s business.

So after all that rambling what I’m trying to say is that I’m not giving up what I love doing. I’m not gonna let some stupid blog bullies keep me from being real. I’m sure I haven’t seen the last of them and their nasty comments but it’s all part of having a blog on the internet I suppose. So I’ll just continue to proudly display my no blog bullies button and hope it repels them from here on out. I’m a woman of many words (ok well not always but for the most part) and I’m not gonna be shut up that easily

I laughed when I saw the picture I have posted at the beginning of this. It seemed so fitting. All you big bullies can keep out.
