Mom’s Morning Show #99
It is pretty easy to write about the Moms Morning Show shows because I’m usually a part of them on a daily basis but aside from that it’s because this week we are talking about one of my all time favorite things in the world - blogging with Word Press.
Ok so I have this love/hate relationship with WordPress but who doesn’t? I still enjoy the features of being able to tweak themes to what fits me and my personality. I love the feature of being able to write a post and then setting it up to post whenever I want it to.
So anyways back to the show, show #99. This episode the ladies were talking about publicizing and marketing your blog. I have to admit that I don’t do that very well. I’ve never really cared about having a group of followers reading my blog…until I started getting into it and doing it for a little while. Then traffic became somewhat important.
A couple of the suggestions that were thrown out there, of ways you can publicize and promote your blog, were using social networking sites like Twitter. Or what about all the blog carnivals you see going on out there. It was mentioned that blog carnivals can be a good way to promote your blog also.
After the show, it made me realize that I need to start being more active in promoting my blog!
