Tell Me Thursday
This week’s Tell Me Thursday is a bit more fun than last week’s because everyone wants to know the story behind the pictures from my Wordless Wednesday because the 2 pics I shared certainly didn’t explain themselves! LOL
Ok so the story goes like this: I attend Tuesday night Networking Chat at 9pm EST that Tammy and Wendy of The WAH Expo put on. Lately a lot of conversations have been turning to the ‘goining ons’ of this ‘friendship’ thing between Tammy’s friend Seth and I. So it wasn’t any surprise (and I certainly wasn’t heartbroken to talk about it! LOL) when the conversation switched to that.
Anyways I had to excuse myself from the room to grab a glass of water and somehow my slipper was tangled in my headset cord and I biffed it. Not just a little stumble but a good ole plant your face in the carpeting biff. My headset got pulled from my computer & flew off my head while I was trying to catch myself and my right arm slid across the floor.
Go ahead laugh - we all did! And I’m still chuckling about it especially when I feel the soreness on my arm. So those 2 pics, even though it was kind of hard to see what I was showing, are of my Tuesday Night Networking Chat battle wound & of course the gals said that that’s what happens when you get foggy brain when you are thinking about a man.
LOL And just so I might get some sympathy from ya’ll check out what it looks like today!

Poor thing! Thank goodness it was just the floor and not the edge of the desk you fell into.
btw…I see you have desk arm too! Gotta love it.
Yup - I’ve had my foot caught on wires under my desk too. I hope your boo-boo feels better soon.
I’m glad you said that it was OK to laugh, because I was feeling al little bad for laughing at ya until I read that.
Those headphone wires are tricky. I’ve tripped over mine, but not quite as gracefully as you did.
Arika - desk arm, lol! Yep it’s like a permanent part of my arm.
Thanks for stopping by ladies.
Okay - I laughed! But I’m sure everyone laughed at my snowmobile launch a few weeks ago.
There’s so many cords around my desk, too. I can’t count the number of times I used to get up from transcription with the headphones on. It’s like your body’s going one way but your head gets yanked back. Been there - done that.
aww I am glad you were o.k.
