The Household Helper #1 - How to Get and Stay Organized
I’m a neat freak when it comes to my apartment! I have a place for every picture, every candle, every magazine, every book, etc. Seriously! Some people think it’s anal others think it’s great & wish they could be that neat.
Now the problem is there’s a difference between being neat and organized! Just because I’m neat does not, by any means, mean that I am organized. To an extent I am, yes. But what looks organized to those on the outside looking in isn’t organized to me looking inside out. Some of my organization skills are stash things under the bed, throw papers & ‘important’ documents in a junk drawer, etc.
It’s actually a bit of a headache to be honest. LOL. So I was totally geeked to hear that Cara Mirabella of The Household Helper was creating a podcast (and coincidentally it’s called The Household Helper Podcast…hehehehe).
As Cara mentioned in her first show, a lot of people have the wrong idea about organization. Many people feel that it requires to too much time (umm yup that’s me…lol), or that you put it off & tell yourself you will do it tomorrow (yup that’s me…again!). Thanks to Cara’s tip of taking about 15 minutes a day to work on taking care of papers, etc. After about 30 days it should be a routine and we all need routines!
The battle has begun! I’m in it to win it. Kelly McCausey has started a war amongst the WAHM blog world and I’m not against pulling hair and scratching to get my hands on that chocolate!!!!

Yet another topic I need help with! Organization is just not my strong suit and it’s gotten even worse since I had my 2nd child now I’m not even neat. Not a slob, but not neat by any means. Off to listen to Cara’s show right now…if I can find the computer speaker volume that is! LOL
