Week #6 Weigh In

I was a bit disappointed with last week’s weigh in (it was only 1 pound that I lost) but this week’s weigh in totally made up for it! I lost 6 pounds! Boom Chicka Boom :-) So the grand total of weight lost is now up to 24 pounds!!!!! Plus the 8.75 inches I’ve lost too. Yeah! I’m so geeked.

Yesterday I went to a local clothing store and spent my gift card that I got from my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas. I was waiting until I had lost some weight to use it. And I was totally excited to fit into jeans that are 2 sizes smaller than where I started when I started eating healthy & exercising 6 weeks ago. And the couple shirts I got are a couple sizes smaller than where I originally started too.

I’m doing crunches like crazy but my stomach seems to be my biggest problem area! Well my chest is a problem area too…I want them to shrink way quicker than they are. LOL So even though I’ve made huge leaps and bounds, I’m getting a bit discouraged with my ‘problem’ areas!

Any suggestions on how to target my problem areas (stomach, thighs & chest)?

    I keep thinking you’re my inspiration to start working out myself. Now that warmer weather’s coming - at least I think it is - I have to believe it is - I really need to get on track. Good for you!!!

    Way to go girl! Keep going, you are doing great! I myself have been watching what I eat, not excercising like I should, but since the weather is getting nicer I can see that coming eventually (the excercising). I was curious to know though, what have you been doing to eat healthier? I watch calorie intake and eat mostly fat free or low fat if possible.
