I had one of those days where I should of crawled back into bed and stayed there…all day.

It started with forgetting that Kelly asked me to be the main host at Mom’s Morning Show today so she could take the day off. I forgot I had scheduled myself to have the day off because I made plans for 11am. So before the show started I was rushing around to cancel plans, open up the chat room, get called into the show, etc. I felt rushed and discombobulated. But the show was fun and I enjoyed it. I survived it.

After that everything kind of fell apart. I dropped my blender on my bare toe and it hurt like a son of a gun! Then after I finished making my banana/strawberry smoothie I lifted the blender up to pour it into my glass and somehow some way I managed to drop it & the lid wasn’t on all the way. Damn you should of seen the mess that made! Then I cut my leg shaving. On the bright side, I did end up laughing at myself as I looked at all the strawberry/banana crap all over my kitchen wall & cupboards that I didn’t get cleaned up like I thought I did.

Then I went to give blood. It looked like it was going to rain but it didn’t….until sometime while I was in giving blood. That was an interesting experience today too - normally I don’t have any major issues giving but for some reason today (maybe cause the guy that did it wasn’t very good, he was pretty rough actually) it wasn’t a smooth painless process like normal. My arm immediately bruised (which is very rare for me) and was super sore. A couple hours after giving blood I was sitting here chatting (to my man which made me very happy…lol) and I got exhausted feeling. Not just tired but exhausted. That’s never happened before. I actually had to go lay down because I eventually got to the point that I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore.

Anyways…the point about mentioning rain?

Because you see my car has an issue with the door leaking. And of course it is the driver side door that leaks. Let’s just say that when it rains, I pretty much get a left sided shower. It’s so ghetto! But hey it gets me from point A to point B so I shouldn’t complain too much. I guess I should see the positive in the fact that it’s just a leak in the driver side door and not something way more serious. I do see the positive in that, as long as it’s not a rainy day when I have to be sitting in the driver seat

P.S. As for the goal I set for myself this week of going to bed by Midnight every night…let’s just say that goal is rolling over into next week and maybe I’ll do it, at least once next week. Yeah needless to say, I didn’t do too good this week except the one night my friend Shannon made me go to bed at 12:30am!
