For today’s Tell Me Thursday I get to tell you the story behind yesterday’s WW picture. There really isn’t much to tell, the title said enough but I’ll fill ya in on the details.

It never fails every single summer when Caleb spends time at his dad’s house he always comes home at least once with a nasty sunburn. So I wasn’t surprised when it happened last weekend.

I don’t think the fact that Caleb got burned is what bugs me because I know everyone at one point in time, myself included has forgotten sunblock and their child has gotten a sunburn. I think it just annoys me because it’s his dad’s fault and Lord knows anything that man does when it involved my son seems to irritate me to no end.

This is for his dad’s benefit although he doesn’t read my blog (probably a good thing…lol).

Sun Block 101:

1. Purchase a $6.00 bottle of sunblock
2. Open the lid
3. Pour in hand
4. Rub on Caleb’s neck, arms, cheeks, forehead, legs & any other area that might be showing
5. Re-apply every couple hours

How hard is that? Every summer we go through this little issue and you would think now that our son is almost 10 the man would remember to put sunblock on Caleb. And what kind of lame excuse is “it was cloudy” most of the day?

I’m in blog meme heaven today! I was tagged for another meme by my friend Nell.

What Was I Doing 10 Years Ago?

Wow 10 years ago I was pregnant with Caleb, due to give birth in September. I was living with Caleb’s dad, fighting lots (I know I know…not good), roasting my butt off in our trailer with no air conditioning, living every weekend at the local stock car race track watching Caleb’s dad race his stock car.

5 Things On My To-Do List Today:

1. Client Projects
2. Reply to the email I got form Seth today
3. Welcome my son home after being at his dad’s for a week
4. Go to a matinee to see Kung Fu Panda (which didn’t happen because we got there & by 2:30pm the theater was still closed - the movie started at 2:15pm…lots of ticked off people!)
5. Play baseball with Caleb

Snacks I Enjoy:

Fruit — especially Watermelon now that it’s in season
Cheese - especially string cheese
Grahm crackers - cinnamon ones

Things I Would Do If I Were A Billionaire:

Wow that’s a lot of money! Let’s see - I’d donate some, buy myself a brand spanking NEW car, buy a house, buy Caleb the gaming systems he wants, take a vacation to Hawaii and buy lots of things for family and friends. I would put some money in the bank too.

I’ve only ever lived in Michigan but lots of different places in Michigan

This is hard to answer because we’ve established in the past that I suck when it comes to cooking! I can make a mean tater tot casserole so I guess I would serve that. To be safe - I’d probably just order pizza. LOL
